About.
Hey! I'm Oli 👋, if you haven't already gathered that by now. I'm a Team Lead and Software Specialist from Erlenbach am Main, Bavaria. I specialize in backend Dev/Ops, primarily Go and Google Cloud Platform, but love building with whatever tools are right for the job.
I currently work for CHI Cargo Group at Airport FRA ✈️, where I lead a team of five talented developers and consultants. We are responsible for integrating internal systems, partner data, and customer data to automate and optimize cargo handling processes. Besides technical integration, our team also consults with customers on our APIs.
Outside of work, I enjoy frontend web development and am passionate about fitness and health 💪. For frontend development, I fell in love with Tailwind, Next.js/React, and Framer Motion. Since I work with statically typed languages, I also prefer TypeScript over JavaScript.

I created, scaled, and now lead the Enterprise Integration team at CHI Deutschland Cargo Handling GmbH. Our team is responsible for building and maintaining the EAI platform that underpins the company’s data infrastructure.
Developed and maintained various EDI integrations, collaborating closely with business departments to ensure seamless data exchange and process automation.
Developed and maintained EDI integrations. Successfully pitched and built the company’s EAI platform from scratch, utilizing cloud-native technologies.
Education.
Completed my apprenticeship as an IT specialist in system integration at Heinrich Koch Internationale Spedition GmbH & Co. KG. During this time, I gained experience in server administration, level 1/2 support, and EDI.
